About The Author
Bible prophecy   From 1974 and until he passed away in June of 2005, Frank Caw devoted a considerable amount of time to research and study in Bible prophecy and related philosophical and theological issues. This website is dedicated by his family to his memory and work and is as he presented it at the time of his death. The family of Frank Caw, Jr. would like to thank Tim McHyde of EscapeAllTheseThings.com for hosting his website.

While always insisting on a plain, literal and sensible approach to scriptural exegesis, he has pieced together many new scriptural insights on a number of extraordinary prophetic developments that are poised to be fulfilled in our immediate future!

Thus, it is safe to say that things are not going to happen the way many people think they will happen.

But, this book will give you the scriptural keys for truly understanding what God has preordained will happen, and how you can survive the incredible scenario of prophetic events about to unfold!
Ministry Dedication
This ministry is dedicated to the loving memory of my late wife, Debbie, who went to be in the presence of God on October 23, 1997, and who was so instrumental in helping me to prepare for my ministry during those many long, difficult years.

Who Are The "Elect" In Matthew 24:31?

Why Jesus Won’t Come Back in 2011 (Or Anytime Soon)

An Ipsos poll in 2006 found that 25% of adults believed it was at least "somewhat likely" that "Jesus Christ will return to Earth" in the coming year. Among white evangelical Christian adults, a whopping 46% believed this. Yet four years later Jesus still has not returned. Want to know why Jesus did not come in 2007, or any year since then and still won't come in 2011 (or anytime soon)? »» Read Featured Article

Question:   Who are the "elect" in Matthew 24:31? Doesn't that prove the Rapture will take place at the Second Coming of Christ?

Answer:   Often the Bible will refer to Christian believers as “the elect,” meaning that they are individuals who have chosen of their own free will to accept God’s amazing free gift of salvation through Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:33; Colossians 3:12; Titus 1:1; John 15:16; Ephesians 1:4; Ephesians 2:10; II Thessalonians 2:13; II John 1:1, 13).

Thus, anyone who is a true follower of Christ is part of the “elect.”

Therefore, believers who will be Raptured to Heaven just before the Great Tribulation begins will be a part of the “elect.” Then immediately afterwards, during the Great Tribulation, new believers in Christ Jesus (i.e., the “tribulation saints,” including the 144,000 Jews) will also become part of the “elect” group of true believers.

The Bible informs us that some of those new tribulation saints will be executed by the Antichrist and then resurrected into Heaven immediately after the Great Tribulation is concluded.

However, new believers, including the 144,000 Jews, who are not executed by the Antichrist during the Great Tribulation will be “sealed” by God to protect them during the great and terrible Day of the Lord which will begin immediately after the Great Tribulation is over.

Those “elect” individuals will be the “elect” who will be translated or gathered by the angels “from the uttermost part of the earth” just before the Second Coming of Christ occurs.

Likewise, the identity of the “elect” who will be gathered from “the uttermost part of heaven” will be the Raptured Christian believers who will be busy exploring the many mysteries and wonders of God’s incredible, infinite universe. (Isaiah 40:31).

This point was corroborated by several biblical scriptures we analyzed earlier concerning “eagle” Christians who will be gathered around Christ Jesus during the Rapture and also at the time of His Second Coming.

Therefore, the above scriptural passages in the Olivet Discourse by no means necessitate a Second Coming Rapture.
