About The Author
Bible prophecy   From 1974 and until he passed away in June of 2005, Frank Caw devoted a considerable amount of time to research and study in Bible prophecy and related philosophical and theological issues. This website is dedicated by his family to his memory and work and is as he presented it at the time of his death. The family of Frank Caw, Jr. would like to thank Tim McHyde of EscapeAllTheseThings.com for hosting his website.

While always insisting on a plain, literal and sensible approach to scriptural exegesis, he has pieced together many new scriptural insights on a number of extraordinary prophetic developments that are poised to be fulfilled in our immediate future!

Thus, it is safe to say that things are not going to happen the way many people think they will happen.

But, this book will give you the scriptural keys for truly understanding what God has preordained will happen, and how you can survive the incredible scenario of prophetic events about to unfold!

What the 66% Who Believe Jesus Will
Return in 2007 2008 Don't Know But Should...

An Ipsos poll says that 25 percent of adults believe it is at least somewhat likely that Jesus Christ will return to Earth in 2007 2008. Of white evangelical Christian adults it's 66%. Matthew 25:1-13
1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. (KJV)

A parable is used primarily as a story to illustrate an important, basic truth. Often, as in the case here, cultural customs and circumstances are used only as the backdrop to the story so as to make it more interesting and understandable to the audience. The singular truth expressed in this parable, therefore, is the stark reality that we should always be “ready” to go because no one knows when the Lord will Return for His saints. Although we should always exercise great care and caution when finding a counterpart in reality to the various elements contained within the story, the answers do seem fairly obvious in this case.

The five wise virgins with oil in their lamps represent true, born-again Christians who have the Holy Spirit dwelling in their hearts because they are in a proper relationship with God through Christ Jesus, their Lord and Saviour. However, the five foolish virgins represent unsaved individuals who are not “overcomers” of the world through Christ Jesus as Scripture admonishes us to be. (I John 5:1-5) (I John 2:13-17) (Eph. 2:5-10) (Titus 3:4-8) (John 3:16-21). Therefore, they are not ready when the bridegroom (Christ) suddenly appears to claim His bride (the church). This is the same truth expressed in the verses immediately preceding this scriptural passage:

Matthew 24:36-51
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (KJV)

Yet another biblical passage which is often misunderstood involves the following scripture which portrays the separation of goats (“evil” people) from sheep (“good” people) who will be living on earth, immediately after Armageddon is over. Unfortunately, sometimes this scripture is used to teach that Christians will be Raptured at this point in time. However, in actuality, the “sheep” who are portrayed in this scriptural passage should be distinguished from the Raptured Christians who will return with Christ at His Second Coming:

Matthew 25:31-46
31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. (KJV)

In other words, this scriptural passage describes a period of judgment for “unsaved” or “unconverted” people still living on the earth after the Battle of Armageddon is over. Please note that Jesus did NOT indicate this narrative was a parable by beginning with a qualifying phrase such as: “is like unto,” or “like,” or “such as,” etc.. Instead, He very clearly said, “When the Son of Man shall come in his glory...” Therefore, the evidence quite obviously mandates we take Jesus at His Word, literally, and apply this passage, literally, to the time of His Second Coming.

On that basis, then, the purpose of this judgment will be to determine which “unsaved” individuals, surviving after Armageddon is over, will be deemed worthy to remain alive on the earth during the Millennial Reign of Christ. Therefore, each person will be judged strictly on his or her own individual merits since this would be the only fair method in judging. (The word for “nations” used in Matthew 25:31-46 is ETHNOS, which also means races, peoples, families, and individuals.) During this earthly judgment by Christ, people will be classified as either “sheep” or “goat,” depending upon their actions throughout the period of time between the Rapture and Armageddon. Those people who help Jews or Christians during their time of tribulation, if presented with an opportunity to do so, and who also never accept the “mark of the beast,” will be classified as sheep. The others, however, will be classified as goats and then thrown into Hell immediately.

Compare the above scripture with the following parallel passage of scripture which also describes the separation of “good” people from “evil” people living on earth immediately after the Battle of Armageddon:

Matthew 13:36-43, 47-50
36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:

48 Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.

49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,

50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. (KJV)

Some people have thought perhaps this scripture teaches that the saints will be Raptured at the time of the Second Coming of Christ (i.e., a “post-tribulation” Rapture). But, as we observed earlier, the scriptural evidence overwhelmingly proves a pre-tribulation Rapture; an honest appraisal of the evidence allows no other conclusion. The problem in understanding this passage comes from our limited view of the full scope and extent of God’s Kingdom. We must realize there will be more than just Christians living in it; there will also be Jews living in the nation of Israel, and non-Jewish people living in all of the Gentile nations throughout the world. Accordingly, this scripture parallels the scriptural passage in Matthew 25:31-46 which describes the judgment of the sheep and the goats immediately after Christ Returns at the Battle of Armageddon. It has nothing to do with the Raptured saints who will return with Christ at His Second Coming.

II Timothy 4:1
1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick (i.e., “living”) and the dead at his appearing (i.e., “manifestation” or Second Coming) and his kingdom (which will be fully established only after the Millennial Reign Of Christ). (KJV)

In other words, the Lord Jesus Christ will judge the people still living on earth, immediately after His Second Coming at Armageddon; and He will also judge the dead at the Great White Throne Judgment, immediately after the conclusion of His Millennial Reign when His eternal Kingdom will be manifest throughout the earth.

Matthew 24:29-31
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (KJV)

Mark 13:24-27
24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,

25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.

26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. (KJV)

Often the Bible will refer to Christian believers as “the elect,” meaning that they are individuals who have chosen of their own free will to accept God’s amazing free gift of salvation through Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:33; Colossians 3:12; Titus 1:1; John 15:16; Ephesians 1:4; Ephesians 2:10; II Thessalonians 2:13; II John 1:1, 13). Thus, anyone who is a true follower of Christ is part of the “elect.”

Therefore, believers who will be Raptured to Heaven just before the Great Tribulation begins will be a part of the “elect.” Then immediately afterwards, during the Great Tribulation, new believers in Christ Jesus (i.e., the “tribulation saints,” including the 144,000 Jews) will also become part of the “elect” group of true believers.

The Bible informs us that some of those new tribulation saints will be executed by the Antichrist and then resurrected into Heaven immediately after the Great Tribulation is concluded. However, new believers, including the 144,000 Jews, who are not executed by the Antichrist during the Great Tribulation will be “sealed” by God to protect them during the great and terrible Day of the Lord which will begin immediately after the Great Tribulation is over. Those “elect” individuals will be the “elect” who will be translated or gathered by the angels “from the uttermost part of the earth” just before the Second Coming of Christ occurs.

Likewise, the identity of the “elect” who will be gathered from “the uttermost part of heaven” will be the Raptured Christian believers who will be busy exploring the many mysteries and wonders of God’s incredible, infinite universe. (Isaiah 40:31). This point was corroborated by several biblical scriptures we analyzed earlier concerning “eagle” Christians who will be gathered around Christ Jesus during the Rapture and also at the time of His Second Coming. Therefore, the above scriptural passages in the Olivet Discourse by no means necessitate a Second Coming Rapture.

Matthew 16:27-28; 17:1-9
27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,

2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.

4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

6 And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.

7 And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.

8 And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.

9 And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead. (KJV)

Verse 27 in the scriptural passage above is a reference to the Judgment of the Sheep and Goats, portrayed in Matthew 25, that will take place when Jesus Returns to the earth with His Saints. That judgment will be based on the individual actions of people so that Christ can determine which human survivors of Armageddon will be permitted to remain living on the earth. Then in verse 28, using the opening phrase, “Verily I say unto you,” for added emphasis, Jesus promised that some of the individuals standing there with Him would be privileged to see Him in His glorified Divine state before they died (although there was no promise they would also see everything else He had just predicted in the previous verse of scripture). Then as promised, a few days later, subsequent verses in this passage describe how some of the disciples saw Him in a vision, briefly, displayed in all of His Divine glory during His transfiguration.

Matthew 10:23
23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. (KJV)

The phrase, “have gone over,” in the above scriptural passage is translated from the Greek word TELEO, which Strong’s Hebrew-Greek Dictionary defines as follows: “To end, i.e., complete, execute, conclude, discharge (a debt),” and is translated in the KJV as “accomplish, make an end, expire, fill up, finish, go over, pay, perform.” So essentially, this scriptural passage predicts that the cities of Israel will not be “gone over” or completely evangelized before the Second Coming of Christ takes place. This prediction is literally true because all the cities of Israel were not fully evangelized by the early church due to the severe persecution which they endured, and also because the city of Jerusalem was destroyed soon thereafter in 70 A.D.. (Acts 8:1-4) (Acts 9:1-4) (Acts 11:19-21) (Acts 12:1). Nor have they been fully evangelized since then, nor will they ever be completely evangelized until the Millennium. (Isa. 2:1-4) (Isa. 11:9) (Rom. 11:25-29) (Zech. 12:10 through Zech. 13:1).
