While always insisting on a plain, literal and sensible approach to scriptural exegesis,
he has pieced together many new scriptural insights on a number of extraordinary
prophetic developments that are poised to be fulfilled in our immediate

Thus, it is safe to say that things are not going to happen the way many people think
they will happen.
But, this book will give you the scriptural keys for truly understanding what God has
preordained will happen, and how you can survive the incredible scenario of prophetic
events about to unfold! |

The Millennial Reign
Of Christ
The Millennium
An Ipsos poll says that 25 percent of adults believe it is at least somewhat likely that Jesus Christ will return to Earth in 2007 2008. Of white evangelical Christian adults it's 66%. Want to know why Jesus won't come in 2007 2008, before most find out in Jan 1, 2008 2009? »» Read Featured Article
Revelation 20:1-6 1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. (KJV)
“I saw the souls of them that were beheaded.” Quite interestingly, the very cruel and barbaric practice of beheading people apparently will come back into style under the rulership of the Antichrist — a perfect illustration of how some people will show their true colors whenever they gain a clear upper hand over others. When Satan achieves dictatorial control over the planet through Antichrist, at a time when self-righteous “evildoers will wax worse and worse,” this will be just one of the many atrocities and injustices they gladly will help to perpetrate. Furthermore, the growing influence of Islam, especially militant Islam, makes it much easier to understand how “civilized” society could actually murder and execute huge numbers of people simply because they will become Christians.
“They lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” Sometimes it is believed (erroneously) that this passage teaches that Tribulation Saints will not be resurrected until after Armageddon when the Millennial Reign of Christ begins. However, as we saw earlier, the tribulation saints who will be killed by the Antichrist, during the Great Tribulation, will be resurrected into Heaven immediately after the Great Tribulation is over. That is why Revelation 7:9-17 portrays them in Heaven just before the Trumpet-Vial plagues are unleashed upon the earth. In this instance, John merely takes cognizance of the fact they will be included with all other saints, from all of the ages, who will be reigning with Christ on the earth as joint-heirs.
As a result of the final conflict during Armageddon, the earth will be left literally in a shambles! However, since God’s ultimate objective for the earth is redemption and complete restoration of the earth to its original state of created perfection, a major reconstruction task of immense proportions awaits. Accordingly, Christ will accomplish this transformative objective within one millennium of time. (Rev. 20:1-10). Satan, enemy of all that is good and creative, will be imprisoned within the “bottomless pit” for the duration of the Millennium to prevent any type of interference with events on his part. At the conclusion of the Millennium, the final enemy of humanity, death, will be destroyed, and God’s Kingdom will then extend throughout all of the world as the following scriptures confirm:
Daniel 2:34-35 34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.
35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. (KJV)
Daniel 2:42-45 42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.
43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure. (KJV)
Daniel 7:24-27 24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.
27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. (KJV)
Micah 4:1-5 1 But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.
2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
3 And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it.
5 For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever. (KJV)
1 Corinthians 15:24-28 24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. (KJV)
Earthly Survivors
Face Judgment
Immediately after the horrific events of Armageddon are concluded, Christ will initiate a period of judgment for all people still alive on earth:
Matthew 25:31-46 31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. (KJV)
In other words, this scriptural passage describes a period of judgment for “unsaved” or “unconverted” people still living on the earth after the Battle of Armageddon is over. Please note that Jesus did NOT indicate this narrative was a parable by beginning with a qualifying phrase such as: “is like unto,” or “like,” or “such as,” etc.. Instead, He very clearly said, “When the Son of Man shall come in his glory...” Therefore, the evidence quite obviously mandates that we take Jesus at His Word, literally, and apply this passage, literally, to the time of His Second Coming.
On that basis, then, the purpose of this judgment will be to determine which “unsaved” individuals, surviving after Armageddon is over, will be deemed worthy to remain alive on the earth during the Millennial Reign of Christ. Therefore, each person will be judged strictly on his or her own individual merits since this would be the only fair method in judging. (The word for “nations” used in Matthew 25:31-46 is ETHNOS, which also means races, peoples, families, and individuals.) During this earthly judgment by Christ, people will be classified as either “sheep” or “goat,” depending upon their actions throughout the period of time between the pre-trib Rapture and Armageddon. Those people who will help Jews or Christians during their time of tribulation, if presented with an opportunity to do so, and who also never accept the “mark of the beast,” will be classified as sheep. The others, however, will be classified as goats and then thrown into Hell immediately.
Compare the above scripture with the following parallel passage of scripture which also describes the separation of “good” people from “evil” people living on earth immediately after the Battle of Armageddon:
Matthew 13:36-43, 47-50 36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:
48 Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.
49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,
50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. (KJV)
Some people have thought perhaps this scripture teaches that the saints will be Raptured at the time of the Second Coming of Christ Jesus (i.e., a “post-tribulation” Rapture). But, as we observed previously, the scriptural evidence overwhelmingly proves a pre-tribulation Rapture; an honest appraisal of the scriptural evidence allows no other conclusion. The problem in understanding this passage comes from our limited view of the full scope and extent of God’s Kingdom. We must realize there will be more than just Christians living in it; there will also be Jews living in the nation of Israel, and non-Jewish people living in all of the Gentile nations throughout the world. Accordingly, this scripture parallels the scriptural passage in Matthew 25:31-46 which describes the judgment of the sheep and the goats immediately after Christ Returns at the Battle of Armageddon. It has nothing to do with the Raptured saints who will return with Christ at His Second Coming.
II Timothy 4:1 1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick (i.e., “living”) and the dead at his appearing (i.e., “manifestation” or Second Coming) and his kingdom (which will be fully established only after the Millennial Reign Of Christ). (KJV)
In other words, the Lord Jesus Christ will judge the people still living on earth, immediately after His Second Coming at Armageddon; and He will also judge the dead at the Great White Throne Judgment, immediately after the conclusion of His Millennial Reign when His eternal Kingdom will be manifest throughout the earth.
Concerning the Gentile nations, consider the following passages:
Zechariah 14:16-21 16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
20 In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD’s house shall be like the bowls before the altar.
21 Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts. (KJV)
This passage undoubtedly affirms there will be people from all the nations of the world who will live in God’s Kingdom despite their non-Christian status. These people will be taught “the way of the Lord” so that they can live in the Kingdom as subjects who will be ruled by Christ and the saints. Note what Micah has to say in this regard:
Micah 4:1-2 1 But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.
2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. (KJV)
This is why John wrote the following:
Revelation 21:23-24 23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. (KJV)
Israel And Nations
Forever
The earthly nations will be saved because they will accept and learn “His ways” and “His paths.” The fact that all of the nations will be present in God’s eternal Kingdom also is supported by the following scriptures:
Psalms 2:7-11 7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. (KJV)
Revelation 2:26-27 26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. (KJV)
Revelation 20:3 3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. (KJV)
Revelation 20:8-9 8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. (KJV)
Please observe that those people who will be deceived by Satan, after the Millennium, will be members of a group of people (i.e., nations) who will be separate and distinct from the saints of God.
Revelation 22:1-2 1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. (KJV)
Daniel 7:27 27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. (KJV)
Isaiah 9:7 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. (KJV) Naturally, a kingdom necessitates a king, a realm and a reign. Christ is the King, and the earth is part of His realm, and as we saw earlier, the reign will commence with the Second Coming of Christ. Since this kingdom will expand or “increase” in size forever, this indicates that the subjects of the Kingdom will be increasing numbers of ordinary men and women (i.e., the people of the nations) who will populate increasing numbers of planets throughout the universe forever. The saints, on the other hand, will be a fixed and unchanging number of individuals; they will not procreate any offspring. Moreover, the saints will be “kings and priests” with Christ forever — not subjects of the Kingdom. Accordingly, please compare other scriptures which state that both Jewish people and the Gentile nations will always be present in God’s eternal Kingdom:
Ezekiel 37:21-28 21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.
24 And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.
25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children’s children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.
26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
27 My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
28 And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore. (KJV)
It is interesting to note that King David of ancient biblical times will reign as prince and king with Christ, the “King of Kings,” over the people of Israel. Some people have speculated that passages such as this one really mean “Christ” when they say “David.” But this type of exegetical interpretation is a sure recipe for error, so it is imperative that we consistently adhere to the common-sense rules of interpretation, discussed earlier, if we are to minimize our misunderstandings of biblical Scripture.
Ezekiel 36:22-38 22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name’s sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.
23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.
25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
29 I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.
30 And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.
31 Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.
32 Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.
33 Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded.
34 And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by.
35 And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.... (KJV)
God vows to put His Spirit into the hearts of the Jews, and cause them to keep His commandments. It will be a “new day” for Israel; one in which they will be reborn, spiritually, after their physical deliverance during Armageddon. God then declares that “ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.” (verse 28). Quite obviously the Jewish nation must endure forever; so will the heathen or Gentile nations throughout the world who will bear witness to what God does for Israel. Accordingly, God has promised that He will abolish the old covenant given through Moses, and make a new and better covenant with Israel for all of eternity:
Hebrews 8:8-13 8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away. (KJV)
Hebrews 10:14-19 14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.... (KJV)
Romans 11:25-27 25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. (KJV)
Isaiah 42:6 6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; (KJV)
Isaiah 59:19-21 19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.
20 And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.
21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever. (KJV)
Jeremiah 31:31-34 31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. (KJV)
Jeremiah 32:37-40 37 Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely:
38 And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:
39 And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:
40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me. (KJV)
More scriptures testify to the eternal nature of Israel and the nations:
Isaiah 2:1-4 1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. (KJV)
Isaiah 66:18-24 18 For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.
19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.
20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.
21 And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD.
22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh. (KJV)
Compare Isaiah 60:1-22; 61:1-11; and Zech. 2:4-13. Still more scriptures attest to the fact that the nation of Israel will last forever, and that she will be transformed through a spiritual cleansing and renewal:
Isaiah 4:1-6 1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.
2 In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.
3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem.... (KJV)
Isaiah 12:1-6 1 And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.
2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation...
4 And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people... (KJV)
Ezekiel 11:17-21 17 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.
18 And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.
19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God... (KJV)
Zechariah 12:10-14 10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn... (KJV)
Zechariah 13:1-5 1 In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.
2 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.
3 And it shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the LORD: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.
4 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he hath prophesied; neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive:
5 But he shall say, I am no prophet, I am an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth. (KJV)
“Neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive.” Ancient prophets wore rough camel skins for clothing. Accordingly, false prophets sometimes will wear such apparel in an effort to imply their prophetic authenticity.
Isaiah 45:14-18 14 Thus saith the LORD, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee...
17 But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.
18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited... (KJV)
Isaiah 59:18-21 18 According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence.
19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.
20 And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD... (KJV)
Compare: Isaiah 60:1-7; Luke 1:31-33; Joel 2:12-27; Micah 7:7-20; Malachi 3:2-6, 17-18; Jeremiah. 3:14-22....
Millennial Conditions
On Earth
During the Millennium, people will enjoy a life span of hundreds of years. (Isa. 65:20-23). Likewise, they also will enjoy perfect health (Isa. 35), and after the Millennium will even become immortal (I Cor. 15:24-26) (Rev. 21:4). Deserts of the world will suddenly bloom as a rose (Isa. 35:1-10) (Isa. 51:3) (Revelation 21:1), and the lamb and the wolf will once again feed together in complete peace and harmony (Isa. 11:6-9) (Isa. 65:25). Even stranger yet is the fact that night will seem as bright as day, and day will seem seven times brighter than it does now (Isaiah 30:26); this would appear to indicate that people will enjoy the privilege of greatly-heightened senses. This millennium of time will also be characterized by a condition of unparalleled peace and security and prosperity throughout all of the world, a condition which will be enforced by the Lord. (Isa. 2:2-4) (Isa. 60:12) (Micah 4:1-8) (Zech. 14:16-21) (Isa. 11:1-10) (Isa. 14:1-8) (Isa. 32) (Isa. 57:13-19) (Zechariah 3:8-10). The following scriptures give us a brief glimpse into future millennial conditions:
Isaiah 35:1-10 1 The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose...
5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
6 Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
7 And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
9 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:
10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. (KJV)
Isaiah 11:6-8 6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den. (KJV)
Joel 3:18-21 18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim.
19 Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
20 But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
21 For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the LORD dwelleth in Zion. (KJV)
Compare: Isaiah 30:18-26; Isaiah 65:18-25; Isaiah 32:1-5; and Isaiah 32:15-20 with the preceding biblical scriptures.
The Final Purging Of
Evil
Revelation 20:7-10 7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (KJV)
The final purging of sinful people living on the earth at the end of the Millennial Reign of Christ will be accomplished by freeing Satan from the “bottomless pit,” and then permitting him to “test” all individuals. Those people who are still sinful in nature, despite having lived during the personal reign of Christ, will be “deceived” and will gather with Satan around the city of the saints, Jerusalem. God will then destroy them with fire from Heaven, after which Satan will be tossed into the “lake of fire and brimstone.” (Rev. 20:7-10). Then after the Great White Throne Judgment is concluded, Hell will also be tossed into the eternal Lake of Fire. (Rev. 20:14).
