From 1974 and until he passed away in June of 2005, Frank Caw devoted a considerable amount of time to research and study in Bible prophecy and related philosophical and theological issues. This website is dedicated by his family to his memory and work and is as he presented it at the time of his death. The family of Frank Caw, Jr. would like to thank Tim McHyde of EscapeAllTheseThings.com for hosting his website.
While always insisting on a plain, literal and sensible approach to scriptural exegesis,
he has pieced together many new scriptural insights on a number of extraordinary
prophetic developments that are poised to be fulfilled in our immediate
future!
Thus, it is safe to say that things are not going to happen the way many people think
they will happen.
But, this book will give you the scriptural keys for truly understanding what God has
preordained will happen, and how you can survive the incredible scenario of prophetic
events about to unfold! |
This ministry is dedicated to the loving memory of my
late wife, Debbie, who went to be in the presence of God on October 23, 1997, and who was
so instrumental in helping me to prepare for my ministry during those many long, difficult
years.

The 144,000 Jews
Will Not Evangelize The World
The Fifth Seal
Revelation 6:9-11 9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. (KJV)
This particular seal does not directly affect the earth itself. It simply shows the results of the violent persecutions that will be waged against new Christian believers during the Great Tribulation initiated by the Antichrist. Thus, these martyred Tribulation Saints are pictured “under the altar” as they impatiently await their resurrection.
The Sixth Seal
Revelation 6:12-17 12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? (KJV)
When the Sixth Seal is opened, it will unleash an absolutely incredible and horrific earthquake which will completely devastate and pulverize the earth by shaking and moving every single mountain and island throughout the world! Meanwhile, simultaneously as this happens, the moon will become like blood while the sun seemingly will transform itself into the color of black. Even the surrounding atmosphere of the earth will undergo an incredible twisting and rolling effect which will not be very dissimilar, perhaps, to a super nuclear explosion — although we should note that this passage makes it very clear that this plague will not be the result of a man-made explosion. Instead, it is clearly stated that these awesome effects will be the direct result of the Sixth Seal when it is opened! Accordingly, please note, too, that people on earth will fully realize and acknowledge the fact that this devastating plague will be a judgment sent directly from God, not something which they will unleash upon themselves! (Rev. 6:15-17).
This seal marks the end of the Dispensation of Grace! Please observe that not even one single person will be converted to salvation after this point in time. In fact, it is mentioned several times throughout Revelation that after the Great Tribulation is over, not even one person will ever repent of their sins despite the incredible plagues that will strike the earth! Contextually, the prophetic stage is now set for the terrible “Day of the Lord” — a day of wrath and judgment — to begin!
Joel 2:28-31 28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. (KJV)
Acts 2:16-21 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. (KJV)
The 144,000
Jews
Revelation 7:1-8 1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
5 Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.
6 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nephthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.
7 Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.
8 Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand. (KJV)
Contextually-speaking, the Great Tribulation will have just ended, and the unleashing of the Sixth Seal upon the earth will have made people realize that the “great day of his wrath is come,” i.e., the “Day of the Lord.” However, before any Divine judgments are released upon the earth, God will protectively “seal” any Tribulation Saints who will have managed to escape execution by the Antichrist. Thus, the “four angels” will be commanded not to harm the earth and the sea until after the protective sealing is completed. Moreover, the Jewish tribulation saints — symbolized as 144,000 Jews — are mentioned specifically in the passage above to illustrate the fact that the Dispensation of Grace will have just ended at that point in time so that the Dispensation of Law (i.e., Daniel’s 70th Week) can begin without mixing the two dispensations. Then Revelation 7 concludes its account by portraying the martyred tribulation saints resurrected in Heaven just before the Seventh Seal begins.
Therefore, Jews who will become Christians AFTER the Rapture will not be killed by Antichrist as many other Christians will be. Please bear in mind that the Antichrist will be negotiating a seven year treaty (Daniel’s 70th Week) with Israel at that point in time, so probably he will not be killing Jews while conducting important treaty negotiations with them. Additionally, Satan will understand that national Israel will have gained the protection of God through the bond of their covenant, years earlier, during the Second Crisis. So, first he will tempt Israel into sin by persuading Israel to accept a special treaty with him BEFORE he will dare to attack Israel. The treaty will be a sin for Israel because, in essence, it will permit the Antichrist to assume the role of God as protector of Israel and her land in Palestine. For that reason, the 144,000 Jews will be safe so long as they remain within the country of Israel, outside the geographical area controlled by Antichrist.
Often it is said that these 144,000 Jews will evangelize the world during the Great Tribulation, but that is not very likely! Instead, these Jews will be converted to salvation at the very same time that all other tribulation saints will be saved. If they were to venture outside of the land of Israel in an attempt to evangelize the world, they would be killed by the Antichrist. Furthermore, the 144,000 Jews are never mentioned in Revelation until they are portrayed in this scriptural passage when both the Great Tribulation and the Dispensation of Grace will have just ended. So, this gives us further reason to believe they will not preach the Gospel message to the world during the Great Tribulation.
Therefore, it will be Raptured Christians, seen as the White Horseman in Revelation 6, and portrayed as an angel in Revelation 14, who will preach the gospel to the whole world! Obviously immortalized Christians, flying above the earth throughout the heavens, will be immune to interference or attack by the Antichrist on the earth below. Thus, God’s purpose in “sealing” surviving tribulation saints, including the 144,000 Jews, will be as stated in this scripture: To provide them with supernatural protection from the seven Trumpet-Vial plagues that will be unleashed during the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord.
It is interesting to note that Dr. Joseph A. Seiss teaches in his Lectures On The Apocalypse that:
“All Jewish names are significant, and the meaning of those which here are given is not hard to trace. Juda means ‘confession’ or ‘praise’ of God; Reuben, ‘viewing the Son’; Gad, ‘a company’; Aser, ‘blessed’; Nepthalim, a ‘wrestler’ or ‘striving with’; Manasses, ‘forgetfulness’; Simeon, ‘hearing and obeying’; Levi, ‘joining’ or ‘cleaving’ to; Issachar, ‘reward’ or ‘what is given by way of reward’; Zebulun, a ‘home’ or ‘dwelling-place’; Joseph, ‘added’ or ‘an addition’; Benjamin, ‘a son of the right hand, a son of old age.’ Now put these several things together in their order, and we have described to us: Confessors or praisers of God, looking upon the Son, a band of blessed ones, wrestling with forgetfulness, hearing and obeying the word, cleaving unto the reward of a shelter and home, an addition, sons of the day of God’s right hand, begotten in the extremity of the age.”
This is a most extraordinary arrangement of carefully-selected names, and not very likely to be coincidental, especially since the sequential order of the names, and even some of the names, themselves, have been changed from the way they are normally listed in other passages of the Bible. This also explains why the names of “Levi” and “Joseph” were substituted for the names of “Dan” and “Ephraim” — so that the intended meaning of the passage could be achieved.
The name “Dan” means “judging or exercise of judicial prerogatives,” but the 144,000 Jews are never said to be judges. Likewise, the word “Ephraim” means “increase, growth by multiplication,” but obviously this would not apply either, because the 144,000 are a fixed number.
“Ephraim” is the same tribe as “Joseph”; and “Dan” is the only tribe not mentioned in this scriptural listing. It is very possible that the omission of “Dan” indicates that the names are only a geographical designation, not a tribal one. This could be symbolic of the unity of the 12 Jewish tribes. (See Ezekiel 48.) Likewise, since human freewill always determines who will accept Christ as Saviour and who will not, it is very probable that the number “144,000” should also be taken symbolically, and not literally.
Sometimes it is said that the United States and Britain represent the alleged 10 “lost” tribes of Israel, and that although the tribes of Judah and Benjamin currently live in the land of Israel, they are not really heirs to the promises made by God to Abraham and to the ancient people of Israel. But such claims are easily refuted because members of all twelve tribes of Israel were partially regathered in the land of Israel during both Old and New Testament times, and many of the Jews who were living abroad in other countries at that time were identifiable as members of all twelve tribes of Israel. (Ezra 7:7; Ezra 7:13; Ezra 7:28; Ezra 6:16; Ezra 6:21; Ezra 9:1; Ezra 10:1; Ezra 10:5; Nehemiah 7:7, 66; Nehemiah 9:1; Nehemiah 12:47; Luke 1:80; Matthew 15:24; Luke 7:9; John 1:31; John 1:47; John 3:10; John 12:13; Acts 2:22; Acts 2:36; Acts 3:12; Acts 4:8; Acts 4:10; Acts 5:21; Acts 5:35; Acts 9:15; Acts 13:16; Acts 13:24; Acts 21:28; James 1:1; Romans 11:2-5).
Tribulation Saints
Resurrected
The passage below, in the remaining part of chapter 7, paints a very powerful and vivid picture of the martyred Tribulation Saints in Heaven, thus proving that the Dispensation of Grace will have been concluded at that point in time. As one of the Raptured Christian Elders told John the Revelator as he stood looking in amazement: “These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” Hence, for that reason, we should not assume these tribulation saints will be second-class citizens in Heaven. Instead, they will be just one other group of believers in Heaven who, jointly, will inherit all things through Christ Jesus. That point is emphasized in Revelation 20 when the Millennial Reign of Christ commences and it is stated, specifically, in that passage, that these tribulation saints will reign with Christ, and that they will be a part of the First Resurrection, too.
Revelation 7:9-17 9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. (KJV)
The Seven
Plagues Of The Seventh Seal
An Ipsos poll in 2006 found that 25% of adults believed it was at least "somewhat likely" that "Jesus Christ will return to Earth" in the coming year. Among white evangelical Christian adults, a whopping 46% believed this. Yet four years later Jesus still has not returned. Want to know why Jesus did not come in 2007, or any year since then and still won't come in 2011 (or anytime soon)? »» Read Featured Article
Revelation 8:1-6 1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.
2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.
3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand.
5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.
6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. (KJV)
The Seventh Seal will last for a period of seven years, during which time the seven great Trumpet-Vial Plagues will destroy much of the earth. This period of time is also called the Day Of The Lord or The Great Day Of His Wrath And Anger. It corresponds in time to the seven years of Daniel’s 70th Week — both of which commence only AFTER the Great Tribulation is over. Obviously it is appropriate for God’s Day Of Wrath to coincide in time with the resumption of the Dispensation of Law (Daniel’s 70th Week) because God’s Wrath is the only possible consequence under the Law without Christ Jesus. So, after the Rapture, we have the Great Tribulation for 3½ years, and then only after the Great Tribulation is over, do we have the seven years which comprise — simultaneously — both the great and terrible Day Of The Lord and Daniel’s 70th Week. Therefore, there is a grand total of 10½ years between the pre-tribulation Rapture and the Return of Christ at the Battle of Armageddon.
Each of the seven plagues will contain the element of fire in order to help purge and cleanse the earth of all its sin and sinful results! Likewise, it is important to observe, also, that the trumpets and vials actually portray the precise same sequential sequence of plagues. Thus, a trumpet located in Heaven and directed towards the earth, while it was being blown, would have the appearance of a vial pouring down upon the earth from the perspective of an observer on earth. That is why, in each instance, any given vial and its corresponding trumpet will be directed against the same target. Obviously this amazing, continuous correlation between two sets of sequential events is not very likely to be simply coincidental!
Later, we will prove conclusively that chapters 4-11 are parallel in time to chapters 12-16; this will further confirm that the plagues of the seven trumpets correspond to the plagues of the seven vials. They sound different simply because they are described from two different viewpoints, similar to the manner in which honest witnesses often can give comprehensive testimonial accounts of the same incident in which some of the details may vary from one account to another. This is especially true if their respective vantage views are considerably different for one reason or another.
The opening of the Seventh Seal will be an extraordinary, monumental event, deserving a moment of silence as the awesome implications and consequences of this last Great Seal are contemplated. The Dispensation of Grace will have been concluded — so no one on the earth can be saved any longer. Likewise, the martyred Tribulation Saints will have already been resurrected into Heaven, while the surviving Tribulation Saints, including the 144,000 Jews, will have been sealed for protection from the catastrophic plagues that are poised for release upon the earth. Thus will begin the Great Day of the Lord, the Great Day of His Wrath — a seven year period of Divine Judgment designed to purge and cleanse the earth of sin and its consequences while meting out appropriate judgment.
